Like all good ideas, PogoStick Web Services got started back in 2008 in a humble garage somewhere down in South Brighton (located in an idyllic, and sometimes forgotten, part of Christchurch, New Zealand).
Looking for inspiration, I spotted the pogostick and thought that’s a cool name for a business. Well I sat on that amazing ‘eureka’ moment for a bit then thought I should actually put something into action and so, using my background in both web coding and marketing (I ran my first internet business while I was still living at home), I started PogoStick Web Services, a business that would offer affordable website services that are often out of the reach of the little guy – being a little guy too I wanted to do something about that.
I haven’t bothered with a mission statement – it’s pretty simple really; do the best you can for your customers and they’ll keep coming back, and bring their friends!
